Everything Is Perfect
By Quincy Newton
All the birds singing in the sky
Painted blue, no clouds up high
And everything is perfect, by and by
Spring is here with a brand new day
Sun shining, as if to say
Come outside, now is the time to play
Winter chilled our bones and got us good
But now the sun is back
And it’ll warm us like we knew it would
All the birds singing in the sky
Painted blue, no clouds up high
And everything is perfect, by and by

With You
by Quincy Newton and Meghan Andrews
Think I’ll take a little walk somewhere
Where it is I don’t care
As long as I’m headed there with you
With you
With you
With you
Hear the little baby birds singing
Leaves on the trees swinging
There’s a song in the land and the song’s for you
For you
For you
For you
We can do absolutely nothing at all
I will hold you close and catch you if you fall
There’s nowhere I’d rather be
Hugging you while you’re hugging me
Feeling like my heart might blow up
I think I”m about to throw up
From all of the love shining from our hearts
Think I’ll take a little walk somewhere,
Where it is I don’t care
As long as I’m headed there with you
With you
With you
With you

It Takes Time

It Takes Time
by Quincy Newton
Bumblebees love the jewel weed
Like a lab loves water, clouds love floating by
Apples dropping off the trees make me think that
Summer’s winding down, and I don’t mind
Crickets chirping singing songs for the forest
Cat bird talking bout some shit that they read online
Sometimes get attached to the story
But I don’t want to bore you with that
Cause it takes time
It takes time
Memories often make me shutter
Peekaboo dropkick right in the gutter
Time, it takes time
I thought the good times would always last
Now I’m trying to let this moment pass
Another day another dream to follow
Some days make you feel so hollow
Some days all the smiles come easy
Good day sail away in the breeze, yeah
Takes patience to knit up a sweater
Doing good, but I could do better
Something new something start to glisten
Shouldn’t speak until I learn to listen
There we are in the street eating marzipan
There we are fell asleep in someone else’s van
There you are holding my hand
And it feels divine
There we are going swimming out in the sun
There we are in trouble now we’re on the run
There we are with raindrops, falling on our head
It takes time
It takes time
Memories often make me shutter
Peekaboo dropkick right in the gutter
Time
It takes time
Thought the good times would always last
Now I’m trying to let this moment pass
It takes time
Slow down let it do what it want, yeah
Slow down let the world flow through ya
Got lost but, not too lost to find

Dog And The Flute

Dog and The Flute
By Quincy Newton
Don’t let a psycho in your heart
That’s when they tear it all apart
Don’t let the river steal your mind
Leave all the memories far behind
Don’t let the moment go fast
Let the moment go slow
Let it go
I’ll bring the dog, you bring the flute
I’ll bring the dog, you bring the flute
Don’t let a psycho in your head
Don’t let a psycho in your bed
Don’t trade your dreams in for a car
Don’t spend the future in a bar
Keep all the treasures and secrets
Lie deep in the ground
Turn around
I’ll bring the dog, you bring the flute
I’ll bring the dog, you bring the flute
Who brought that psycho to the place?
Here comes a psycho in your face
We know that none of us control anything
But, we try
Oh lord we try

Funeral Butt Hole
By Quincy Newton
What would you say at my funeral?
Would you say I was a dick or would you say that you loved me?
What would I say at your funeral?
Would it hurt so bad it makes me sick, or maybe glad that you are free?
What would we say at our funeral?
Would we tell the ones we love to love some more?
And that we will see them once again somewhere
Sometime
Some place
On some sort of heavenly shore
And there’ll be angels all around and there’ll be no more time for crying
There’s hope and laughter all around
And we shall play forbidden games
And we shall sing forbidden songs
There’s music pouring out our hearts
There’s music pouring out our eyes
There’s music pouring out our ears
There’s music pouring out our butt holes
Our butt holes
What would you say at my funeral?
Would you say I was a dick or would you say that you loved me?

Tomorrow Is Another Day
By Quincy Newton
Tomorrow is another day, oh lord
Tomorrow is another day
Things are going bad right now
But, tomorrow they’ll be ok
And even if it feels the whole world might tear you apart
That morning sun is gonna rise and heal your aching heart
Well…debt collectors are calling me 27 times a day
I don’t let that get me down cause I simply cannot pay
And my rights all wrong and my left knees gone
Don’t feel much like carrying on
I’m living out back in a dirty ole shack
‘Puter done broke and feet smell wack
Clouds around and all the sky is grey
But, there’s bound to be some sunshine on the way
Tomorrow is another day, oh lord
Tomorrow is another day
Things are going bad right now
But, tomorrow they’ll be ok
And even if it feels the whole world might tear you apart
That morning sun is gonna rise and heal your aching heart

Still Think Of You
By Quincy Newton
Snow makes us want to stay in bed a little more
Sand makes us want to walk upon the ocean floor
Times may come, we don’t know what to do
Oh the years have passed, but I still think of you
Time makes wrinkles appear upon our face
Death makes our loved ones disappear, without a trace
Moments came when we did not act kind
Oh the seasons change, but you’re still on my mind
Wind may blow our houses down, and storms may flood our farms
Sad times make our faces frown, but I still miss your arms
Spring may come and bring the sun
And with it brings laughter and fun
But, I still wish that I could hold you…

The McDonald's Song
By Quincy Newton
Please don't tell my girlfriend
I ate at McDonald's, no no
No she wouldn't like it at all
She gets very upset at me
When I come home smelling like cheeseburgers
None of her friends that we're friends with
Seem to like McDonald's, at all
No they don't like McDonald's at all
But I like to go there when I'm driving in my car
But right now I don't have a car but that doesn't stop me
I just get there by foot and I walk straight into the restaurant
And order up stuff from the dollar menu with the change that I saved up
But please don't tell my girlfriend
I ate a McDonald's, no no
No she would not like it at all
She said it's bad for the environment
And also probably bad for me
